[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] Ace Bed announced on the 31st that it has opened its second 'Stressless Cinema' at CGV Cine de Chef Centum City located in Busan.
Stressless Cinema is a screening room created through a collaboration between Stressless, a recliner brand imported and distributed by Ace Bed, and CGV's premium movie theater, Cine de Chef. All seats are equipped with Stressless recliners.
CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, which first introduced Stressless Cinema in March, has attracted more than 1,500 visitors per month on average since its opening, receiving positive responses from moviegoers. Since the theater opened, sales at the Stressless store located in Yongsan I'Park Mall have also increased by about 35% compared to the same month last year, showing that the experience through Stressless Cinema has translated into actual sales.
Stressless is a recliner brand developed in 1971 by the Norwegian furniture company Ekornes. It is 100% produced locally in Norway, blending Nordic sensibility into its design and functionality, and offers comfort through ergonomic design.
The Stressless Cinema at Cine de Chef Centum City features recliner products in various leather colors, creating a unique atmosphere. Additionally, to enhance the audio satisfaction of movies, the highest level Meyer Sound System, applied in Carnegie Hall and the Opera House, has been installed.
An Ace Bed representative stated, "We hope that Stressless Cinema, which satisfies all five senses beyond just visual and auditory elements for a satisfying movie experience, will provide comfortable movie viewing."
