Exciting Village Community Events from the 24th to the 29th
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Kim Soo-young) announced that from the 24th to the 29th, a village week event under the theme "Imaginative e-Sang Village" will be held, organized by the Yangcheon-gu Village Community Support Center.
This event, conducted both offline at village community hubs, Yangcheon Park, and local children's parks, as well as online via YouTube live broadcasts, is open for free participation by village project managers and residents alike.
Over the course of one week, the village week event will be held under two themes: "Todak Todak," where residents who have endured a long and difficult time due to COVID-19 share and empathize with each other's stories, and "Green Green," which focuses on jointly considering and seeking practical solutions to the increasingly serious environmental issues.
Main events include ▲ the "Todak Todak Village Healing Camp" live broadcast at 11 a.m. on the 26th via the official YouTube channel of the Yangcheon-gu Village Community Support Center ▲ an environmental forum titled "The Role of Local Communities for a Sustainable Earth Ecosystem" held at 2 p.m. on the 27th at the Yangcheon Nanum Nuri Center ▲ and the "I am a Green Hero! Art Exhibition and Non-face-to-face Flea Market" held at 11 a.m. on the 29th at Yangcheon Park.
Additionally, in local children's parks and alleys, residents will participate in making natural loofahs to create a "Our Neighborhood Loofah Healing Garden."
Kim Soo-young, Mayor of Yangcheon-gu, said, "Since every process of neighbors getting to know each other is a village community activity, I hope this will be a comfortable place for many residents to come together."
