Earn 2,000 Won in Points per Return at Emart24 and CU Until June 3
"Same-day Pickup Requests Account for 10% of Total Returns, Rapid Increase in Users"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Shinsegae TV Shopping announced on the 20th that it will hold an event offering customers up to 10,000 won in points for using the 'Convenience Store Return Service' until June 3.
To participate, customers must apply for the 'Convenience Store Return Service' through the Shinsegae TV Shopping mobile app, then visit the selected Emart24 or CU convenience store and enter the assigned approval number.
Once the product is handed over, 2,000 won in Shinsegae TV Shopping points will be automatically credited within one hour. Each person can participate up to five times, receiving a maximum of 10,000 won in points during the event period.
Shinsegae TV Shopping's 'Convenience Store Return Service' is available at 5,300 Emart24 stores and 12,560 CU stores nationwide.
Following the industry-first nationwide launch of the 'Same-day Return and Exchange Pickup Service' in April, Shinsegae TV Shopping introduced the convenience store return service this month. With the rise of contactless transactions and the importance of speed, fast pickup has become as crucial as fast delivery for customer satisfaction.
Initial usage rates and responses have been positive. Since April 1, the 'Same-day Return and Exchange Pickup Service' accounted for 10% of total pickup volumes. Strengthening the return service has also improved customer satisfaction. Inquiries about 'pickup delays' received by the customer service center decreased from an average of 17% to 11% between April 1 and May 16, a reduction of about 6%.
A Shinsegae TV Shopping representative said, "The 'Same-day Return and Exchange Pickup' service, introduced in collaboration with CJ Logistics in April, operates within fixed hours. To address this, we added the convenience store service so customers can request returns anytime, anywhere, 24 hours a day." They added, "Shinsegae TV Shopping aims to provide a highly satisfying shopping experience by promptly managing after-sales processes following product receipt through our delivery system."
