Dongwon F&B launches 'Double Cheese Richam' with Issac Toast

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Dongwon F&B announced on the 19th that it has launched ‘Double Cheese Richam’ through a collaboration with Korea’s No.1 toast brand ‘Isaac Toast’.

‘Double Cheese Richam’ is a new menu following the first collaboration menu ‘Spicy Sweet Richam’ launched in July last year. It contains three slices of spicy hot chipotle Richam with added cheddar cheese, and is a premium toast featuring mozzarella cheese, deep cheese sauce, and fried egg. It combines the ‘healthy ham’ Richam, which is not salty, with Isaac Toast’s unique recipe to offer a healthy yet distinctive taste.

The premium canned ham ‘Richam Original’ was developed over about a year in 2018 with the concept of ‘delicious canned ham that is not salty.’ It maintains Richam’s unique deep flavor and soft texture while significantly reducing sodium content by more than 20%. Additionally, it has a pork content of over 90%, preserving the original taste of ham with a soft texture without being salty.

To coincide with the launch of ‘Double Cheese Richam,’ Dongwon F&B introduced the ‘Richam Certification Mark’ in dining establishments. This allows customers to verify whether the store actually uses Richam by attaching certification stickers inside the store and placing advertisements. Starting with Isaac Toast, the Richam Certification Mark will be fully introduced in restaurants, cafes, and other dining establishments using Richam as an ingredient in the future.

A Dongwon F&B official said, “We are presenting the second collaboration menu with Isaac Toast to repay the support from customers for Double Cheese Richam last year,” and added, “We plan to introduce various dining menus using Richam going forward.”

The price of Double Cheese Richam is 4,100 won, and it is available at Isaac Toast stores nationwide.
