Ministry of Employment Awards 9 Cases of Proactive Administration Including Digitalization of Communication Data Inquiry

[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Ministry of Employment and Labor announced on the 17th that it selected and awarded nine outstanding cases of proactive administration within the ministry for the first half of this year.

The top prize was awarded for a measure that shortened processing time by digitalizing communication data inquiries through collaboration with telecommunications companies during investigations of cases such as wage arrears.

Measures such as expanding employment service access points by establishing medium-sized employment centers in areas without Employment Welfare Plus Centers, and switching recruitment events to non-face-to-face formats in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, were selected for excellence awards.
