[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] On the 16th, the entire country will be cloudy with rain, gradually stopping from the western regions in the late afternoon.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 15th, from early dawn to morning tomorrow, Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, central and southern Gangwon Yeongseo, and northern Chungcheong are expected to experience very heavy rain of 30 to 50 mm per hour. Accordingly, the KMA has issued a heavy rain advisory for these areas, effective from the early dawn of the 16th.

The KMA stated, "Heavy rain is expected to fall briefly but intensely during the vulnerable early dawn hours," and urged people to prepare to avoid rain damage such as road flooding or drainage backflow.

This rain will gradually cease from the western regions on Sunday night, but sporadic showers will continue until daytime on the 17th in eastern Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Gangwon, inland eastern Honam, and inland Yeongnam. Expected rainfall amounts until the 17th are 50 to 100 mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, Gangwon Yeongseo, Chungcheong, Jeonbuk, northern Jeonnam, and Gyeongbuk, and 10 to 60 mm in other parts of the country. In the areas experiencing rain, gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected.

Sunday morning's lowest temperatures will range from 15 to 21 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs will be cool at 16 to 24 degrees Celsius. Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.

Sea waves will be 0.5 to 3 meters in the East Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the West Sea and South Sea nearshore. Offshore wave heights are expected to be 1 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3 meters in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 4 meters in the South Sea.

From early dawn on Sunday, Jeju Island will experience strong winds with speeds of 10 to 16 m/s and gusts exceeding 20 m/s, possibly prompting a strong wind advisory. Strong winds of 8 to 13 m/s are also forecast along the Honam coast and the southern coast of Gyeongnam.

Strong wind and high waves with speeds of 10 to 16 m/s may lead to a storm warning being issued for the southern offshore waters of Jeju Island from early dawn, the southern offshore waters of the southern West Sea, offshore waters near Jeju Island, and offshore waters of the South Sea from morning, and the offshore waters of the East Sea from afternoon.

Until the morning of the 17th, fog will form mainly along the West and South coasts, reducing visibility to less than 1 km in some areas.
