Seoul Jung-gu Council Administration and Health Committee Visits Cheonho Underground Public Parking Lot in Gangdong-gu and Seongdong-gu Public Bathhouse

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] The Administrative and Health Committee (Chairman Younghan Park) of the Jung-gu Council in Seoul (Chairman Younghoon Jo) visited the Cheonho Underground Public Parking Lot in Gangdong-gu and the district-run bathhouse located in Sageun-dong, Seongdong-gu on the 13th.

This visit was arranged to directly observe excellent policy cases promoted by other local governments and to discover policy models suitable for Jung-gu.

Along with Chairman Younghan Park, Committee Members Hyeyoung Lee and Haengseon Kim of the Administrative and Health Committee, Chair Ki-young Gil and Member Hwamook Lee of the Welfare and Construction Committee also participated in the field visit.

On the day, the council members first visited the Cheonho Underground Public Parking Lot in Gangdong-gu, regarded as a model case for solving parking issues, where they met with officials to listen to the current operation status and difficulties and exchanged opinions.

The next site visit continued to the district-run bathhouse inside the public complex building in Sageun-dong, Seongdong-gu. The members, visiting as a reference to address the regional issue of insufficient bathing facilities for elderly and vulnerable groups with mobility difficulties, thoroughly inspected the facilities and carefully checked the usage status.

The committee members stated, “We will continue to conduct field visits to meticulously analyze excellent cases from other local governments and do our best to contribute to the welfare improvement of district residents.”
