[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Korean Air announced on the 15th that it has signed a business agreement with Emart and the Korean Air Jumbos volleyball team and SSG Landers baseball team for joint marketing.


Korean Air and Emart held a business agreement ceremony the previous afternoon at Incheon SSG Landers Field, attended by Jang Sung-hyun, Vice President of Marketing and IT at Korean Air, and Choi Hoon-hak, Executive Director in charge of Marketing at Emart.


The two companies plan to sell discounted season tickets for volleyball and baseball and jointly sell merchandise. They will also accumulate joint donations to contribute to the local community.


During the professional baseball game held after the business agreement ceremony, Korean Air Jumbos player Jeong Ji-seok threw the ceremonial first pitch, and player Lim Dong-hyeok threw the ceremonial first bat swing.


A Korean Air official said, "We will expand business partnerships in various fields through this agreement," adding, "We will strengthen communication with customers and take the lead in enhancing consumer convenience."
