On the 14th, Kwon expressed his feelings through social media (SNS), saying, "I felt heavy-hearted throughout listening to the president's speech full of boastful promises, just like when past real estate measures were announced."

He pointed out, "It is well known that global industrial countries such as the United States, China, Japan, Taiwan, and the European Union (EU) are engaged in a power struggle over semiconductors, which are core materials of future industries," adding, "Concerns are emerging that Korea could lose its semiconductor industry dominance if things go wrong."

He continued, "The semiconductor industry does not become the world's best just because politicians like the president or the governor of Gyeonggi Province visit factory construction sites and make boastful promises and self-praise," emphasizing, "It is essential to steadily nurture scientific and technological talent and create an environment where companies can challenge themselves with creativity and enthusiasm."

Kwon criticized, "President Moon claimed to pursue income-led growth that no one had heard or seen before, ruining the lives of ordinary people," and added, "While trying to control housing prices, he implemented a stubborn real estate policy that kicked away the ladder to home ownership." He also pointed out, "By boasting about the K-quarantine and neglecting vaccine introduction, he turned the country into one where no one knows when or which vaccine will be administered."

Kwon urged, "If anti-market and anti-business policies that antagonize companies and only produce regulations continue, Korea's proud semiconductor industry could be left behind in an instant during this crisis. I hope that even in the last remaining year, we return to pragmatism and rationalism to nurture companies and create jobs."
