[Asia Economy Reporter Kwon Jae-hee] Jennifer Gates (25), the eldest daughter of Microsoft (MS) co-founder Bill Gates, shared a photo taken with her father on social media.

Following the announcement of Bill and Melinda's divorce, some speculated that Bill might have grown distant from his children due to the divorce. The photo release has also led to observations that it might have been shared to address such concerns.

On the 13th (local time), Bill Gates' eldest daughter Jennifer posted a photo with her father on her Instagram story. In the photo, Bill is standing affectionately next to Jennifer, wearing shorts and a blue short-sleeved polo shirt.

Jennifer wrote, "There is nothing better than spending time with family."

Along with this photo, Jennifer also shared pictures taken with her younger sister Phoebe (18) and younger brother Rory (21). These photos were taken to celebrate Jennifer completing her second year of medical school.

Earlier, on Mother's Day, Jennifer had shared photos with family members excluding her father Bill. This post, made shortly after the announcement of their parents' divorce, led some to interpret that the eldest daughter might be harboring feelings of disappointment toward her father regarding the divorce.

Meanwhile, on the 3rd, Melinda Gates filed for divorce, announcing the end of their marriage. However, they stated that the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, established in 2000, will continue to be operated jointly.
