[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 14th that it has launched a 350ml version of its carbonated water brand "Trevi" without a label, called "Trevi ECO."
This product follows the country's first label-free bottled water brand "Icis 8.0 ECO" and the label-free Chilsung Cider "Chilsung Cider ECO."
"Trevi ECO" uses the same transparent PET bottle shape as the existing product, and the product name is printed on a green bottle cap, making it easy to distinguish the taste and aroma of each product despite being label-free. Instead of a label, all required information such as product name, expiration date, and nutritional facts are printed on the bundled packaging box.
"Trevi ECO" is an online-exclusive product available through Lotte Chilsung Beverage's official online mall "Chilsung Mall" and the "Lotte Chilsung Beverage Naver Brand Store." It can be purchased in bundles of 20 bottles.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage representative said, "'Trevi ECO' was launched to reduce the hassle of removing labels in line with eco-friendly consumption trends and to increase the recycling rate of transparent PET bottles. We will continue to expand eco-friendly products and fulfill our corporate social responsibility."
