Youth Generation Emphasizes "We Will Light the Flame of Hope in Daehanminguk"
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jun-yi] Kang Tae-rin, Vice Chairman of the People Power Party's Uiwang-Gwacheon Division, officially announced his candidacy for the party's Supreme Council on the 13th, declaring, "With fair youth politics, I will light the flame of hope for South Korea and our youth standing at the edge of a cliff."
On this day, Vice Chairman Kang held a press conference at the People Power Party headquarters, introducing himself as "Kang Tae-rin, a healthy young man of South Korea and father of three children."
He added, "President Moon Jae-in verbally advocated fairness and justice, but betrayed the people with hypocrisy and arrogance," and said, "Especially, even though the youth in their 20s and 30s supported President Moon, he kicked away our ladder of hope."
He also stated, "I am challenging the youth Supreme Council position with a spirit of sacrifice for the broken South Korea under this regime."
As his pledges, he presented three points: ▲ Public discussion and enactment of a law to lower the eligibility age for members of the National Assembly, local council members, and heads of local governments to 21 ▲ 100% support of party membership fees for youth candidates running in the general election ▲ Promotion of a 2030 Youth Development Center.
In conclusion, Vice Chairman Kang emphasized the youth generation, saying, "The People Power Party will achieve national harmony and unity," and "In all of this, I, Kang Tae-rin, and the youth in their 20s and 30s will stand at the center."
