CEO Seo Young-ok said, “I hope financial support for related industries will be strengthened so that the semiconductor boom can continue,” and introduced the company by saying, “We are striving for employee happiness management by operating an in-house restaurant, gym, exhibition, and performance hall so that employees of small and medium-sized enterprises can enjoy health and cultural life.”
Visiting local industrial sites, President Yoon said, “It was a meaningful occasion to check the local economic situation and meet businesspeople practicing people-centered ESG (environment, social, governance) management,” and added, “IBK will strengthen related support to raise ESG awareness among small and medium-sized enterprises as well as overcome the COVID-19 crisis to help sustainable growth.” He also attended the naming ceremony of HMM (formerly Hyundai Merchant Marine)’s ultra-large container ship ‘HMM Hanbada’ as a guest of honor and delivered a congratulatory speech, saying, “With the deployment of ultra-large container ships such as Hanbada, I hope the logistics difficulties of our export-import companies will be resolved and that we will leap forward as a strong maritime nation.”
