Samsung SDS "Launches Cello Square 4.0... Supporting SMEs' Overseas Expansion"

[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Samsung SDS will provide the IT-based logistics platform 'Cello Square 4.0' platform in August.

Samsung SDS revealed this information on the 13th at the 'Cello Conference 2021.'

Cello Square 4.0 is a specialized service based on global transportation and digital new technologies. Cello Square automatically recommends the optimal transportation route based on information such as the type and weight of the cargo to be delivered, the departure and arrival locations, and the transportation schedule.

Shippers can grasp the real-time location and any abnormal situations of cargo in transit at a glance through Cello Square. Once transportation is completed, Cello Square automatically settles the billing details of multiple logistics operators and provides logistics data analysis-based reports, suggesting ways to reduce future logistics costs.

Samsung SDS also introduced specialized services applying digital new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain. Through Cello Square, users can receive transportation control services that monitor in real time the delivery status of products sensitive to temperature, humidity, and shock, as well as high-value items. AI analyzes cargo size and quantity to recommend the optimal delivery space.

For shippers aiming to reduce freight costs during long-distance air shipments, Samsung SDS introduced the 'Air Reforwarding Service,' which allows the use of major transit logistics centers such as Dubai, Miami, and Hong Kong. Through this service, shippers can monitor real-time transshipment status via mobile devices.

Additionally, the company introduced the 'Amazon Warehouse-bound Sea Transport Service,' which acts on behalf of domestic small and medium export companies to transport goods by sea to Amazon logistics centers in the US, Japan, and other countries for Amazon sales, and provides consulting on complex customs clearance procedures.
