Kyobo Life Insurance Supports Soccer Dreamers with Player Jo Won-hee Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 13th that it will support young soccer hopefuls in remote mountain and island areas together with soccer player Jo Won-hee.


[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 13th that it will support soccer player Jo Won-hee and young soccer hopefuls in island and mountainous regions.


Kyobo Life Insurance and player Jo selected seven organizations with soccer teams of five or more members in schools, local children's centers, and child care facilities in island and mountainous areas, providing 5 million KRW each, totaling 35 million KRW. The funds will be used for hiring external instructors, providing soccer equipment, and covering medical expenses that may occur during exercise.


Since 1985, Kyobo Life Insurance has held the 'Kyobo Life Insurance Cup Dream Tree Sports Competition,' the only private nationwide youth sports event with about 4,000 elementary school students participating annually in seven basic sports including athletics, swimming, ice skating, gymnastics, judo, table tennis, and tennis, producing a total of about 135,000 promising athletes to date.


A Kyobo Life Insurance official stated, "We are focusing on content that fosters a unique culture of donation that can interest even the MZ generation, moving beyond simple monetary donations."
