Talk Show with Comedian Jo Seonghee, Conducted Online Using ZOOM... First-Come, First-Served Recruitment Through Mapo-gu Childcare Support Center, 50 Participants per Session
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Mapo-gu (Mayor Yoo Dong-gyun) will hold an online parenting healing talk show with comedian Jo Seung-hee for parents with young children in the area who are exhausted from home-based childcare.
The 'Online Parenting Healing Talk Show' is based on the purpose that happy parents make happy children. Comedian Jo Seung-hee will communicate in real-time with parents through the Zoom program, providing laughter and healing time to parents tired of childcare with her witty storytelling.
In addition, various recreational activities will offer generous prizes, and there will be a time to share and empathize with various parenting episodes submitted in advance by parents.
This online talk show will be held twice on May 26 via the Zoom program. The first session will start at 10:30 AM, and the second session at 3:30 PM, each lasting one and a half hours with 50 participants per session.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Mapo-gu Childcare Support Center website, and only parents with young children in Mapo-gu are eligible to apply.
Meanwhile, last year, the district also held a healing concert called 'Two Mom Show' to provide healing time for women exhausted from childcare and to promote gender equality culture.
Yoo Dong-gyun, Mayor of Mapo-gu, said, "These days, when everyone is struggling due to COVID-19, it can be said that family love shows even greater strength," adding, "I hope this online talk show, held in May, the month of family, will bring much comfort to parents tired of childcare."
