Pohang City Hosts Online University Admission Fair with 97 Universities Participating

June 4-10 Online Event... Pre-registration Starts from the 17th

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Pohang City announced on the 13th that it will hold the '2022 Academic Year College Admission Fair' online on the 4th of next month, with participation from 97 universities nationwide.

This fair will be held for seven days from June 4 to 10, targeting examinees or parents who pre-registered with admission officers from 97 universities nationwide. It is divided into University Hall, Special Lecture Hall, and Consulting Hall.

The University Hall provides university-specific college admission information, one-on-one individual admission counseling, and university-specific admission explanation sessions. For individual counseling, applicants can click on the icon of the desired university to apply for counseling. Since the available counseling dates and times differ by university, it is essential to check in advance.

The online university admission explanation sessions will be conducted live according to each university's schedule on the fair platform and the Pohang City Career and Admission Support Center YouTube channel.

On June 4, sessions will be held in the order of KAIST, Pukyong National University, Kyungpook National University, Hanyang University, and Dongguk University; on the 5th, the Korea Military Academy, Sungkyunkwan University, UNIST, Cheongju National University of Education, and Sogang University; and on the 6th, Myongji University, Dong-A University, Pohang University of Science and Technology, Korea University (Sejong), and CHA University. Additionally, Kyung Hee University, Chung-Ang University, Sookmyung Women's University, Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology, Air Force Academy, and Naval Academy will provide pre-recorded explanation videos.

The Special Lecture Hall will be held live every day from 2 PM for two hours from June 4 to 6 on the fair platform and the Pohang City Career and Admission Support Center YouTube channel.

A representative from the Pohang City Education and Youth Department stated, "We hope that this 2022 Academic Year Online College Admission Fair will serve as an opportunity to quench the thirst for admission information among examinees and parents in the region."
