Jeonnam Central Child Protection Agency and Naju City Join Hands to Establish Child Protection System for Multicultural Families

Jeonnam Jungbu Child Protection Agency and Naju City Healthy Family & Multicultural Family Support Center Sign Business Agreement

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency announced on the 12th that it held a business agreement ceremony with the Naju Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center to establish a child protection system.

Through this agreement, the two organizations promised to mutually cooperate in exchanging projects for the healthy growth of multicultural families in the Naju area and improving family welfare, as well as strengthening local infrastructure.

Yoo Kiyong, director of the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency, said, "As the number of multicultural families in the local community is increasing, we hope that this business agreement will establish a protection system for children from multicultural families in the community," adding, "We will closely cooperate for the healthy growth of children in the future."

Ha Yangjin, director of the Naju Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center, stated, "Since accurate understanding is necessary in communication with multicultural families, we will cooperate through support for professional capabilities," and added, "We will actively support the protection of children from multicultural families."

Meanwhile, the Jeonnam Central Region Child Protection Agency conducts various programs for the protection of abused children and their families, including crisis intervention through on-site investigation support of child abuse cases, treatment services, as well as education and promotional activities for the prevention of child abuse.
