By region, there were 6 cases in Jinju, 6 in Gimhae, 4 in Yangsan, 3 in Changwon, 3 in Sacheon, 2 in Miryang, and 1 in Tongyeong.
Among the confirmed cases in Jinju, 3 were contacts of confirmed cases within the province, tested positive during quarantine, and were classified as numbers 4245 to 4247.
Two cases are under investigation for infection routes and were classified as numbers 4239 and 4248 after testing positive.
The remaining one was a visitor to a Jinju church who tested positive in a pre-release quarantine test and was classified as number 4236. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Jinju church to 32.
Among the confirmed cases in Gimhae, 3 were contacts of confirmed cases within the province and were classified as numbers 4237, 4251, and 4255 after testing positive.
Three others were contacts of confirmed cases from other regions and were classified as numbers 4252 to 4254.
Among the confirmed cases in Yangsan, 2 were contacts of confirmed cases from other regions and were classified as numbers 4258 and 4159.
One was a family member of a confirmed case within the province who tested positive in a pre-release quarantine test and was classified as number 4257.
The remaining one was a confirmed case related to an indoor sports facility in Yangsan who tested positive in a pre-release quarantine test and was classified as number 4260. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Yangsan indoor sports facility to 20.
Among the confirmed cases in Sacheon, one was related to the Sacheon Welfare Center and tested positive after symptom onset during quarantine, classified as number 4242. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Sacheon Welfare Center to 26.
One was an acquaintance of a confirmed case from another region and was classified as number 4243 after testing positive.
One was related to a Sacheon entertainment establishment and tested positive, classified as number 4244. This brings the total number of confirmed cases related to the Sacheon entertainment establishment to 58.
Among the confirmed cases in Changwon, one tested positive after symptom onset and was classified as number 4238.
One was a family member of a confirmed case within the province and was classified as number 4241 after testing positive.
One was an overseas entrant who tested positive and was classified as number 4256.
Among the confirmed cases in Miryang, one tested positive after symptom onset and was classified as number 4249.
One was an acquaintance of a confirmed case from another region who tested positive in a pre-release quarantine test and was classified as number 4250.
The single confirmed case in Tongyeong was related to the metropolitan area, tested positive after symptom onset during quarantine, and was classified as number 4240.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province have increased to 4,257 (293 hospitalized, 3,948 discharged, 16 deceased).
