[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] Two additional witnesses have come forward who claim to have seen university student Son Jeong-min (22), who went missing and was found dead at Seoul Hangang Park, and his friend A on the day of the accident.


According to the police on the 12th, two witnesses who said they saw Jeong-min and A on that day gave statements about the situation at the Seoul Guro Police Station.


It was confirmed that they stopped their car while driving on the day of the disappearance and stayed at the scene until around 2:50 a.m., and also took photos of Son and A.


One witness told a media outlet, "The person wearing a baseball jumper tried to lift him, but Jeong-min collapsed again," adding, "(A) suddenly gathered his belongings, put on his bag, kept pacing around, and lay down again just as we were leaving."


With the emergence of new witnesses, the number of witness groups secured by the police has increased from 7 people in 5 groups to at least 9 people in 6 groups.
