[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on the 12th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with digital health management startup Medihear to collaborate on remote medical consultation and non-face-to-face healthcare services for Koreans residing overseas.

The two companies plan to pursue mutual cooperation to explore collaboration plans for non-face-to-face healthcare services, marketing using remote medical consultation service partnerships, and strategic synergy through new product development.

Medihear is a digital healthcare startup operating the remote medical consultation membership service "DoctorHere" for Koreans worldwide.

Through chat or video calls, it supports services such as remote medical consultation, prescriptions, and health counseling in English or Korean with Korean specialists affiliated with the DoctorHere hospital in New York, USA. It is available in 150 countries worldwide, including the United States, and can be used unlimitedly for one year upon payment of an annual fee.
