Lotte Mart's Unique Watermelon Collection... "Yellow Inside or Mini Size"

Lotte Mart will hold a 'Unique Watermelon Collection' event at all stores starting from the 13th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Mart announced on the 12th that starting from the 13th, it will hold a ‘Unique Watermelon Collection’ event at all stores, showcasing various types of watermelons in one place.

The unique watermelons featured in this event include ‘Heukmi Watermelon’, ‘Black Boss Watermelon’, and ‘Apple Watermelon’. Lotte Mart will offer a 1,000 KRW discount on each watermelon for L.Point members.

The Heukmi Watermelon is characterized by its dark green-black rind compared to regular watermelons, a crisp texture, and high sweetness. The Black Boss Watermelon features a dark-colored rind and yellow flesh, weighing around 2kg, making it a suitable size for 2 to 3 people. The Apple Watermelon is a small watermelon weighing about 900g, with a thin rind that can be peeled like an apple.

A Lotte Mart official said, “As the summer weather begins in earnest, we planned this event considering the increasing number of customers looking for seasonal fruits like watermelon to enjoy coolly.
