'Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel' Built Next to Songpa-gu Office Former KT Site to Hire Over 200 People

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Songpa-gu (Mayor Seongsoo Park) will hold the Songpa-gu online job fair in the first half of 2021 on the 21st, linked to a large-scale public recruitment before the opening of the ‘Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel’.

The district has held job fairs every year to revitalize the local economy, expand employment opportunities for local talent, and promote youth employment, but due to COVID-19, it has been converted to and is being promoted online.

In particular, this job fair is held in line with the opening and large-scale recruitment schedule of the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel, a top French luxury hotel brand under the Accor Group, currently being built on the site of the KT Songpa branch, for young people dreaming of becoming ‘hoteliers’.

The Sofitel Ambassador Seoul Hotel plans to hire a total of about 200 people in ▲Rooms Department ▲Revenue & Reservations ▲Food and Beverage Department ▲Kitchen Department ▲Sales Promotion Department.

Accordingly, the district planned a briefing session where the Sofitel HR manager introduces the company, explains the recruitment schedule and procedures, and answers pre-submitted and on-site questions from applicants.

It is expected to provide vivid information for youth aspiring to be ‘hoteliers’ to succeed in employment.

The job fair will be broadcast live in real time on Songpa-gu’s YouTube channel, SongpaTV, for 60 minutes from 3 p.m. on May 21.

Also, 150 job seekers residing in Songpa-gu will be given the opportunity to ask questions about the recruitment process and employment success strategies through prior application.
