Bill Gates Was a 'Womanizer'... Also Enjoyed Nude Parties

[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Recently divorced Microsoft (MS) founder Bill Gates has been exposed as a libertine who enjoyed nude pool parties behind his image as a tech mogul.

On the 10th (local time), according to the US daily New York Post and others, biographer James Wallace claimed in a media interview, "Bill was not just a computer geek," and "he enjoyed his private life behind the scenes."

In the 1997 biography of Bill titled Overdrive, he wrote, "Bill frequently visited stripper clubs in Seattle and would bring strippers home to have nude parties with friends in the indoor swimming pool."

He added, "Bill did not stop this kind of promiscuous private life even after meeting Melinda French, who would become his wife, in 1988," and "Although it was not reported in the media, Bill's promiscuous sex life was well known."

According to the book, Melinda was also aware of Bill's sexual lifestyle. Wallace wrote, "Melinda knew well about Bill's sexual life even after they started dating."

He also said, "Bill and Melinda's relationship was very turbulent," noting, "They broke up for about a year due to issues with women, but after reuniting in 1992, their relationship seemed to strengthen again."

The book also covers interviews with Bill's ex-girlfriends, including Ann Winblad. Before deciding to marry Melinda, Bill reportedly asked Winblad for her opinion about Melinda. Winblad said Bill described his wife not as a fateful choice but as someone who passed a test.

Ben LaVern, who worked with Gates as a former MS executive, also agreed in a Daily Mail interview that Gates' private life was promiscuous, the New York Post reported.

LaVern said, "Being naked in the pool is not unusual, but if everyone is naked in the pool, that's a different story."

He added, "It is clear that Bill enjoyed parties before marrying Melinda, but I have never seen him throw parties after marriage."

Earlier reports also revealed that Bill maintained a relationship with billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who committed numerous sex crimes against minors and later took his own life, despite Melinda's concerns.
