'Electronic Government Information Security Solution Fair' to be held at Ilsan KINTEX from 12th to 14th

Compare and Experience e-Government Service Information Security Solutions in One Place

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 11th that the 9th Electronic Government Information Security Solution Fair, where IT personnel from administrative and public institutions share information security policies and the latest security technology trends, will be held at the Ilsan KINTEX Exhibition Center from the 12th to the 14th.

This event is a platform to review this year's information security technology trends and showcase advanced security products, with about 120 companies expected to participate.

Electronic government security personnel attending the event will have the opportunity to compare and experience the latest international security technologies through information security solutions and conferences.

The 9th Electronic Government Information Security Solution Fair is hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the World Security Expo Organizing Committee, and co-organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency, the Public Sector Purchasers Council, and Security News. The event consists of an information security solution product exhibition and an information security conference. The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to announce the policy direction for strengthening digital government cybersecurity in a special session.

Jung Seon-yong, Director of the Digital Government Bureau, said, “Through this conference and exhibition, government and public institution officials will learn about products and solution implementation cases necessary for electronic government information security and prepare countermeasures against recent personal information leakage incidents, which will be very helpful,” adding, “I hope this event will be a good opportunity to make electronic government services safer and to revitalize the related domestic industry.”
