Jindo-gun "Young People, Take on the Challenge, We Will Support Your 'Startup'"

Beginner Startup Guide, 92% of Youth Startup School Trainees Complete the Course

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do recently held a graduation ceremony for the ‘Youth Startup School,’ which serves as a guide for beginner entrepreneurs, at the Youth Center.

According to the county on the 10th, the ‘Youth Startup School,’ attended by 25 young people under the age of 49, was held a total of 10 times until the 4th to create jobs for youth and foster startups.

The training was conducted with a practical focus to reduce the risk of failure for early-stage entrepreneurs, covering topics such as selecting and developing startup items, marketing, and writing business plans.

Out of the 25 total trainees, 23 completed the program, achieving a 92% completion rate, demonstrating strong interest in successful entrepreneurship.

Last year, 63 people participated in the ‘Youth Startup School’ held in the first and second halves of the year in Jindo-gun, and as of May, 5 have successfully started businesses.

The county provides benefits to graduates of the Youth Startup School, including consulting for startups, customized solutions, preferential qualification when selecting startup support recipients, and the production of signboards upon starting a business.

A representative from the Jindo-gun Job Investment Division said, “We held the Youth Startup School to help prospective young entrepreneurs prepare for and settle into successful businesses,” adding, “We also plan to support the activation of local youth communities, culture, and creative activities.”

Meanwhile, Jindo-gun plans to hold the Hope Youth Academy twice a month from May to November, focusing on enhancing youth startup skills and capabilities, so that young people can participate together and realize their dreams.
