Joint Inspection by Province and City/County on Water Play Safety Vulnerable Areas Conducted
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do plans to conduct on-site inspections until the 31st to prevent water play safety accidents that frequently occur during the summer season.
This inspection will be a full inspection of 184 water play sites in the province according to the 2021 summer inland water water play safety management plan.
Safety facilities such as lifeguard boxes, rescue poles, and life jackets for the rapid rescue of lives in water play areas will be checked, and aged facilities will be repaired or replaced.
In addition, a comprehensive on-site safety inspection will be conducted, including checking the deployment plan of water play safety management personnel.
In particular, the province and city/county will jointly inspect vulnerable areas such as key management areas and danger zones where safety accidents are a concern to further strengthen safety management.
Furthermore, considering the serious situation of COVID-19, quarantine preparation items such as the provision of thermometers, hand sanitizers, and management of entry logs will also be inspected.
Baehyeontae, Director of the Social Disaster Division of the province, said, "Through this on-site inspection, we plan to prevent water play accidents in advance and ensure that residents do not experience inconvenience in using water play facilities. We ask water play users to comply with safety rules and COVID-19 related quarantine rules."
