Yeogyeonghyeop, Developing Grip and Mobile Sales Channels... Real-Time Broadcast of Women Entrepreneurs' Products

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association is conducting a 'Special Broadcast for Women Entrepreneurs' Products' in collaboration with Grip Company, a mobile live commerce broadcasting platform for women entrepreneurs.

Grip live shopping is a sales method where sellers and buyers communicate in real time, increasing purchase loyalty. It is recognized as a mobile sales company that has pioneered a new market for non-face-to-face sales channels for B2C companies and small business owners, whose offline sales were hit hard by COVID-19.

Last month, the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association held a product evaluation meeting for entry into Grip and selected products from 10 women-owned companies. The selected companies receive full support for various production costs required for broadcasting and fees for securing famous celebrity hosts.

The 'Special Broadcast for Women Entrepreneurs' Products,' held in May to celebrate Family Month, consists of four sessions from 8 PM to 10 PM on the 13th and 14th, and will be broadcast through the Grip live shopping channel. It can be viewed by installing the Grip live shopping application on a smartphone.

Comedians Park Seong-gwang, Kim In-seok, Baek Bo-ram, and Heo Anna will appear, introducing products with cheerful talk and selling by communicating with consumers in real time.

Jung Yoon-sook, president of the Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association, said, "The association will take the lead to help women entrepreneurs adapt and develop well in the rapidly changing distribution environment due to COVID-19."
