Samsung Card Signs Business Partnership Agreement with Korea Center Samsung Card signed a strategic business partnership agreement with Korea Center on the 7th at the Samsung Headquarters Building in Jung-gu, Seoul. [Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Samsung Card announced on the 10th that it has signed a strategic business partnership agreement with Korea Center at the Samsung Headquarters Building in Jung-gu, Seoul.


The signing ceremony held on the 7th was attended by Kang Byung-joo, Executive Director of Samsung Card, Kim Gi-rok, CEO of Korea Center, and other officials.


The two companies agreed to carry out joint marketing targeting MakeShop customers, share marketing channels based on both companies' platforms, launch co-branded cards, and explore new products and business opportunities. In addition, they plan to provide incubating education for new entrepreneurs and marketing support using the Samsung Card Link platform.


Korea Center, established in 2000, is a platform company that provides all solutions necessary for e-commerce business. Its well-known platforms include MakeShop, which handles domestic business, Malltail, which manages overseas business, and Enuri, which is responsible for big data and price comparison services. As an untact platform, it has achieved results such as KRW 303 billion in sales and KRW 17.2 billion in operating profit in 2020.


A Samsung Card official said, "Through collaboration utilizing the capabilities of both companies, we plan to continuously provide benefits that satisfy customers."
