If You Promote 'Prepayment' on SNS, Get Up to 30,000 KRW Mobile Gift Card... Busan City Promotion Event Participation Method and Eligibility.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] An event is being held where you can receive a mobile gift certificate through a draw if you promote ‘prepayment’ on SNS.

Busan City (Mayor Park Hyung-jun) announced that it will start the ‘Prepayment Campaign SNS Promotion Event’ from the 10th to spread the prepayment atmosphere.

Busan City has been promoting a private sector prepayment campaign under the slogan ‘Supporting Our Neighborhood Regular Stores!’ since early this year to help local small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.

To expand private sector prepayment, two promotional events will be held from the 10th until July 9.

The event is open to individuals and businesses. ▲Individuals can participate by uploading the prepayment campaign image on their personal SNS and then completing certification on the event page.

Anyone can participate regardless of region. ▲For businesses, only those located in Busan City are eligible. They must upload a prepayment welcome image on their business SNS and certify it on the event page.

The application periods are the first round from May 10 to June 9, and the second round from June 10 to July 9.

Busan City will draw a total of 160 winners (per round ▲10 winners of 30,000 KRW ▲70 winners of 10,000 KRW) to receive mobile Onnuri gift certificates. Winners will be announced twice, on June 14 and July 13. Detailed information about the event can be found on the Busan City website.

Mayor Park Hyung-jun of Busan said, “I hope this event will lead to the spread of prepayment not only in the public sector but also in the private sector,” and added, “We will prepare various measures to support local small business owners who continue to face difficulties due to COVID-19, including expanding prepayment.”

In March, Busan City held a communication meeting with representatives of small business sectors and signed a business agreement with 11 associations to expand private sector prepayment participation.

Additionally, the city has been working to expand private sector prepayment by producing and distributing prepayment welcome posters for businesses and promoting prepayment certification events.
