In response to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to prevent local infections, the number of participants for on-site education will be reduced, and online lectures will be held simultaneously through the 'Andong City Hall YouTube channel' so that any citizens interested in the food plan can watch.
On the first day of the academy, under the theme of understanding the food plan, lectures will be given on ▲ national and regional food plan policy directions and establishment trends ▲ the concept of the food plan, food circulation, and the food plan.
On the second day, as practical tasks of the food plan, lectures are planned on ▲ win-win models between rural areas and consumers ▲ urban cultural approaches to food issues ▲ proper eating habits and healthy dietary practices.
The 'Food Plan' is one of the government's 100 major national tasks, a comprehensive food plan that establishes a virtuous cycle system of food within the region, from production to processing, distribution, consumption, and disposal.
An Andong City official stated, "Through this academy, we aim to raise citizens' interest in the food plan and build consensus," adding, "We will collect various opinions from the lectures and strive to establish a sustainable comprehensive food plan."
