[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 7th that two projects were selected in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's "2021 Regional Industry Customized Job Creation Support Project" contest, securing a total of 190 million KRW in national funding.

According to the city, the selected job projects are ▲ Kyungdong University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation's "Live Commerce Video Media Expert Training Project" and ▲ Gyeonggi Textile Industry Association's "Customized Textile Fashion Workforce Training and Employment Connection Support Project."

The Live Commerce Video Media Expert Training Project provides education for career-interrupted women, covering everything from live commerce planning to video shooting and editing, helping them start shopping businesses and re-enter as media creators.

The Customized Textile Fashion Workforce Training and Employment Connection Support Project supports unemployed individuals aspiring to work in the textile fashion industry distribution sector by offering online sales training courses, cultivating shop masters capable of operating both online and offline stores simultaneously.

The city plans to recruit 49 trainees for the two job projects, aiming for 30 employment or start-up successes.
