Starting with seniors aged 70 to 74 from the 6th, reservations for those aged 65 to 69 will be accepted from the 10th, and for those aged 60 to 64 from the 13th. Vaccinations will begin on the 27th for those aged 65 to 74, and from the 7th of next month for those aged 60 to 64.
Among the 76 entrusted medical institutions in Yeosu City, seniors can make advance reservations by visiting a nearby medical institution, and vaccinations will be administered using the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Advance reservations can be made through the online reservation website and call center.
For seniors who have difficulty making online reservations, the Central Disease Control Headquarters Infectious Disease Specialist Call Center and Yeosu City provide telephone reservation services.
Seniors who find it difficult to make reservations alone can visit the eup/myeon/dong community service centers with their ID and a mobile phone registered in their name to receive assistance with advance reservations.
Once the advance reservation is completed, a text message including the reservation date and time, vaccination institution, and type of vaccine will be sent within one hour.
A city official said, “If your health condition is not good on the day of vaccination, please contact the scheduled vaccination institution to reschedule, and we hope you receive the vaccination safely on a day when you are in good health.”
