[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced on the 7th that it held a sharing event titled 'Carnations in Full Bloom, Smiles in Full Bloom' for elderly people living alone in the local community at Jaseongdae Senior Welfare Center located in Dong-gu, Busan, in celebration of Parents' Day.


The Housing Finance Corporation plans to deliver carnations to 13,000 elderly people living alone who are experiencing feelings of alienation and depression through the Busan Senior Welfare Center Association and the Busan Center for Comprehensive Support for the Elderly Living Alone.


A representative from the Housing Finance Corporation said, "In celebration of Family Month in May, we organized this event to alleviate the loneliness of elderly people living alone and to express our gratitude. We will continue to promote various social contribution activities for the happy later life of the elderly."
