This project supports youth with remodeling costs and rental fees, which are most needed when starting a business, up to a maximum of 15 million KRW.
Eligibility for application includes prospective youth entrepreneurs and early-stage youth entrepreneurs within one year who have an address in the county as of the announcement date. The startup fields include all sectors except franchises, finance and real estate, lodging, and other industries deemed inappropriate.
The county is expanding recruitment not only to prospective youth entrepreneurs, the original target group, but also to early-stage youth entrepreneurs within one year to support youth entrepreneurs who started their businesses during the COVID-19 period.
Additionally, support is provided up to 10 million KRW for remodeling and 5 million KRW for rental fees, and the selection types have been subdivided to enable more youth to receive startup support funds.
The application period is until the 21st, and applications can be submitted by visiting the Population and Job Policy Office at the county office.
A county official said, "We will provide practical help to prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs so that youth can settle in Yeonggwang through successful job creation," and added, "We will continue to promote various customized youth policies to create a happy environment where youth want to live."
