Shilla Stay Joins Social Contribution Project 'Making Delicious Jeju' Again This Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Shilla Stay announced on the 7th that it will continue supporting local small business owners by participating for the second year in the social contribution project "Making Delicious Jeju," which is a collaboration between Hotel Shilla and the Jeju local community.

Through "Making Delicious Jeju," Hotel Shilla's representative social contribution activity, Shilla Stay supports small business owners in the Jeju area and aims to help revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19. This year, starting in May, they will run a "Stamp Accumulation Promotion."

This year's stamp accumulation promotion has been upgraded compared to last year. When checking in at Shilla Stay Jeju, guests receive a stamp book, and by visiting "Making Delicious Jeju" restaurants within Jeju Island with the stamp book, they can receive one free drink per table and one stamp. Customers who accumulate stamps will receive various benefits at Shilla Stay locations nationwide, depending on the number of stamps collected.

The promotion involves 19 currently operating "Making Delicious Jeju" restaurants in Jeju and 13 Shilla Stay locations nationwide. Shilla Stay offers benefits based on the number of stamps collected: two draft beers (1 stamp), unlimited draft beer or two 1500㎖ pitchers (2 stamps), and breakfast buffet for two (3 stamps).

After taking a certification photo showing the stamp book at a "Making Delicious Jeju" restaurant and uploading it to personal social networking services (SNS) with the required hashtags, customers can enter the "Stamp Book Certification Photo Event," which offers special prizes through a monthly draw. Three winners are selected each month to receive prizes such as the Shilla Stay Signature Bear. The stamp book promotion and certification photo event will continue until the end of this year.

Meanwhile, the "Making Delicious Jeju" project is a social contribution program aimed at strengthening Jeju's food culture competitiveness and supporting small business owners to establish a foundation for recovery. The "Making Delicious Jeju" restaurants began with the opening of the first branch, "Sinseong Halmae Restaurant," in February 2014 and have expanded to the 24th branch, "Biyangdo Restaurant."
