Haenam-gun Hosts 'Hidden Haenam 7 Selections' Photo Certification Event for Family Month

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it will hold the ‘Hidden Haenam 7 Selections’ photo certification event, where visitors can find hidden attractions in Haenam and receive Haenam specialty products by leaving a certification photo, in celebration of Family Month.

The Hidden Haenam 7 Selections were chosen by Haenam-gun and the Haenam branch of the Photographers Association, focusing on seven lesser-known hidden tourist spots and non-face-to-face tourist destinations.

The event period is two weeks from the 7th to the 23rd. Visitors who visit at least one of the seven locations, take a certification photo, and leave a comment on the county’s official Facebook page will receive Haenam specialty products.

The Hidden Haenam 7 Selections include Geumgang Reservoir Trail in Haenam-eup, Danggut Lighthouse in Songji-myeon, Art Street in Hwawon-myeon, Haewollu Walkway in Bukpyeong-myeon, 4est Arboretum in Hyonsan-myeon, Sunflower Farm in Masan-myeon, and Osiano Tourist Complex in Hwawon-myeon. For the Sunflower Farm in Masan-myeon and the 4est Arboretum, photos taken during visits from 2019 to 2020 can also be used to participate in the certification photo event.

Among the participants, 40 people will be selected by lottery to receive Haenam specialty products such as abalone and chestnut pumpkins.

A county official said, “We have prepared a special event where families can create happy memories in Haenam during Family Month in May,” adding, “We hope visitors can spend meaningful time at Haenam’s hidden attractions.”
