[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 6th that it will conduct special lectures for 3rd-year high school students preparing for the CSAT online via the ZOOM video conferencing system starting from the 10th.
This special lecture will be held by inviting famous instructors in collaboration with EBS to support general high school guidance in response to changes in university admission policies focusing on the expansion of regular admissions.
Applications will be accepted in advance until the 9th through the ‘Jeonnam Career and Admission Support Portal,’ and will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis for 480 students per subject area.
To increase accessibility for students, the special lectures will be held for five days at 7 PM daily in five subject areas: Korean, Mathematics, English, Social Studies Inquiry, and Science Inquiry, providing guidance on the direction of questions and study methods for each area.
In particular, by providing guidance on key question types for each subject and changes in the EBS linkage method, the plan is to support Jeonnam students to effectively prepare for the CSAT.
To prevent COVID-19, the lectures will be conducted online with interactive sessions, and participant satisfaction will be enhanced through real-time Q&A.
Park Kyung-hee, Director of Secondary Education, said, “We expect this to help 3rd-year high school students who have lacked study time due to COVID-19 in preparing for the College Scholastic Ability Test.”
