[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] The National Credit Union Federation of Korea (Saemaeul Geumgo) will launch a broadcasting station on the 25th to celebrate its 58th anniversary this year.
According to the federation on the 6th, 'MGTV,' which has been broadcast since January last year via IPTV, CATV, and satellite TV, is preparing for an official launch.
The entry into broadcasting was planned to effectively promote Saemaeul Geumgo's products and services in the non-face-to-face era and to publicly showcase the status of Saemaeul Geumgo, which has grown into a large cooperative.
MGTV will feature self-produced programs such as Joseon Paldo Gyeonmunrok, MG Manse, Magazine X, Music Ease, and MGTV Special, as well as educational programs like MBN Golden Egg, Modern Family, EBS Extreme Jobs, and Finding Dad Sammanri.
Park Cha-hoon, chairman of the National Credit Union Federation of Korea, emphasized, "We have been considering diversifying Saemaeul Geumgo's promotional channels in the non-face-to-face era," adding, "Through MGTV, Saemaeul Geumgo will become more approachable to consumers."
