On the same day, through social media (SNS), Rep. Hong stated, "In the early days of the Moon administration, the prosecution, following President Moon's orders, mobilized even the Special 4th Division to fully focus on investigating deep-rooted evils, carrying out political investigations that annihilated the opposing camp, faithfully acting as the hunting dogs of power. In the mid-term of the administration, they became bulldogs guarding the house to cover up the Moon administration's corruption, relentlessly protecting illegal power by any means necessary," adding, "Despite working tirelessly without regard for public opinion, both internally and externally, the prosecution lost its investigative authority to the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials and the police, and has fallen to a secondary investigative agency, making it difficult even to work as a lawyer after retirement."

He continued, calling it "the downfall of the prosecution" and "the karma of acting as hunting dogs and bulldogs."

He said, "I hope the newly appointed nominee for Prosecutor General, Kim Oh-soo, will not create such a prosecution," and urged, "Protect the last remaining pride of the prosecution." Rep. Hong emphasized, "The reason for the prosecution's existence is the realization of justice," and stated, "Governments are temporary, but the prosecution is eternal."
