[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Jinju City Children's Meal Management Support Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it distributed 'Everyone's Children's Day' play kits to parents of children's meal facilities registered at the center.

The event was held on the 29th in a drive-through and walking-through format to distribute play kits to parents while complying with quarantine rules due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The play kits were designed to allow children and parents to engage together and naturally learn about nutrition and hygiene, including mushroom growing and jelly making sets, and were distributed free of charge to 50 people who applied online in advance.

Additionally, to help children become familiar with vegetables and develop proper eating habits, those who grow and taste mushrooms using the provided mushroom growing kit and submit a review will be entered into a draw to win an automatic hand wash dispenser, with 7 winners selected.

A parent participating in the care center event said, "This Children's Day, we plan to stay at home due to COVID-19, but thanks to the various play kit events, I think we can create another enjoyable memory with the children even at home."

Center Director Jo Gye-man said, "For safe and healthy meals, we will continue our efforts and support to ensure proper hygiene and nutrition education is linked at home as well as through regular visits and guidance to children's meal facilities."
