[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Nodongil) announced on the 27th that Kim In-gyu, director of Hwasun Biomed Nursing Hospital, pledged a donation of 100 million won and joined the Honor Society.

The joining ceremony was held simply in compliance with COVID-19 quarantine guidelines, attended by Nodongil, chairman of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, Heo Young-ho, representative member of Jeonnam Honor Society, and Kim In-gyu, director of Hwasun Biomed Nursing Hospital.

The donated funds will be used for elderly welfare projects.

Director Kim In-gyu said, "Although everyone is going through a difficult time due to COVID-19, I joined the sharing for the community to turn the crisis into an opportunity," adding, "I hope courage and hope will be delivered to neighbors in need."

Biomed Nursing Hospital, located in Dogok-myeon, Hwasun-gun, opened in June 2017, combines standard treatment with complementary medical cancer treatment and has been steadily loved by local residents for its transparent treatment process.

It also carries out warm sharing activities for neighbors in various ways, such as briquette sharing volunteer work for low-income vulnerable households, neighbor sharing for Chuseok, residential environment improvement support, and cancer patient treatment cost support.

Meanwhile, the Honor Society is a "personal high-donation club" where members join by donating 100 million won or pledging to donate 100 million won within five years. Currently, there are 113 members in the Jeonnam Honor Society.
