Soribada launches 'Oh Yuna One-piece'... Partners with fashion brand 'Diastory'

[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Soribada (CEO Jo Hogyeon) Distribution Business Division announced that it has partnered with the fashion brand ‘Diastory’ to launch a new business in the clothing sector. Diastory, launched by designer Kang Seona, is gaining great popularity by showcasing stylish and unique designs centered on ‘resort wear.’ Through this partnership, Soribada will participate in production and design and provide various sales channels utilizing Soribada’s distribution network.


Soribada expects the success of its own fashion brands ‘Stair’ and ‘Saint Marine’ to be reflected in this clothing industry venture. Both brands maintained steady sales despite last year’s ‘COVID-19 recession,’ and demand continues to grow, giving confidence in Diastory’s entry into the fashion market. Additionally, Soribada announced plans to expand its domestic distribution network and, if sales are positive, to proceed with overseas sales as well.

Diastory’s representative model has been selected as actress Oh Yuna. Actively working in various TV and film projects, Oh Yuna will help boost promotional effects, and through various events and campaigns, Soribada plans to increase awareness of the ‘Oh Yuna One-piece’ launched by Soribada. The first sale of the product will take place on the 28th during the Hyundai Home Shopping PGM broadcast ‘Choi Hyunwoo’s Choice.’ Along with home shopping sales, Soribada stated that it will enhance consumer accessibility through various sales channels such as its own online mall, live commerce, and offline distribution.


A Soribada official said, “We have secured various sales channels and diversified marketing methods in the distribution market, and through this, we expect Diastory’s successful market entry,” adding, “We will diversify the portfolio of our distribution business by launching various brands and products.”
