[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Juhyung] Seoul reported 248 new COVID-19 cases from midnight to 9 PM on the 23rd, a 21-hour period, according to the Seoul Metropolitan Government.

This is the highest number recorded in the same time frame in 107 days since January 6.

The total number of new cases in a day was 297 on January 6, 204 on April 22, and 217 on April 16.
