According to the police on the 23rd, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul arrested Mr. A in the act at around 3 p.m. on the 22nd at the first-floor entrance of an apartment in Mapo-gu, Seoul, for assaulting a man in his 70s, and is currently investigating him.
It is known that Mr. A assaulted the victim because their eyes met. The victim was reportedly punched and kicked by Mr. A, who is over 180 cm tall and has a strong build, sustaining fractures and other injuries, and was transported to the hospital.
At the time of the crime, Mr. A was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, according to the investigation. A police official stated, "The charges may change depending on the extent of the victim's injuries," and added, "We are actively considering applying for an arrest warrant."
