[Naju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Han-hyuk Lee] Naju City, Jeollanam-do (Mayor Kang In-gyu) announced on the 23rd that it will operate the ‘2021 On-site Local Regulation Reporting Center’ to improve unreasonable regulations experienced by local businesses, small merchants, and citizens in their economic activities and daily lives.

The On-site Regulation Reporting Center provides field-oriented consultation services for the prompt amendment of related laws and autonomous regulations by discovering unreasonable regulations.

Regulation improvement suggestions and difficulties identified through this process will be immediately forwarded to the relevant departments for corrective action, and matters related to Jeollanam-do and central government agencies will be proposed to the respective institutions to seek solutions.

Earlier, on the 21st, the city conducted its first consultation activities of the year by visiting Seungjin Electronics Industry Co., Ltd., located in Noan Industrial Complex, and Yujin Techno Co., Ltd., located in the Innovation Industrial Complex, together with the Regulation Reform Team of the Legal Affairs Office of Jeollanam-do.

A city official stated, “We will regularly operate on-site consultations at least once per quarter and visit sites as needed when difficulties are reported, promoting field-centered regulation improvements that businesses, small merchants, and citizens can feel. Suggestions for regulation improvements can be submitted through the Regulation Reform Sinmungo operating on the city hall website, the Small and Medium Business Ombudsman, or by visiting the Planning and Budget Office at city hall.”
