"Helping Digitalization of Small Businesses in Daegu"…SBC-Daegu TP, Business Agreement

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) will sign a "Business Agreement for the Sustainable Growth of Small Businesses in the Daegu Region" with Daegu Technopark (Daegu TP) on the 23rd at the Daegu Venture Center.

SEMAS and Daegu TP agreed to mutually cooperate in supporting the digitalization and smartization of small businesses in the Daegu area, which have been struggling due to COVID-19, and to jointly promote activities to revitalize the local economy.

After the signing ceremony, they toured the 'Ieummadang Business Lounge' and 'Onsaem Business Lounge' located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Daegu Venture Center. These two spaces are equipped with office equipment and facilities available for use by local small business owners and operate 24 hours a day to assist with startups and business operations.

Cho Bong-hwan, Director of SEMAS, stated, "In the post-COVID era, integrating digital and smart technologies into small business operations has become a necessity rather than a choice. We will actively support small business owners in the Daegu region to smoothly incorporate digitalization and effectively respond to the Fourth Industrial Revolution era."
