[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 22nd at 3 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the 2021 School Shelter Ttukttak Creation Project target school business agreement ceremony and the village advisory group appointment ceremony held at the Mathematics Culture Center.

The Ttukttak Creation Project, which creates shelters for students by utilizing idle spaces within schools, expanded its target to include elementary schools in 2021. Elementary schools will have advanced physical activity spaces, while middle and high schools will create shelters and cultural arts spaces.

A total of six schools (Taereung Elementary School, Jungwon Elementary School, Gyeonggi Technical High School, Mirae Industrial High School, Bulam High School, Cheongwon Girls' High School) were selected. On this day, business agreements were signed with each school, and the appointment ceremony for nine village advisory group members who will work together on the Ttukttak project was held.

Attended by Mayor Oh Seung-rok, Jung Yong-hoon, Principal of Taereung Elementary School, Won Ki-ho, Principal of Jungwon Elementary School, Shin Seung-in, Principal of Gyeonggi Mechanical Technical High School, Kim Tae-sik, Principal of Mirae Industrial Science High School, Han Hong-yeol, Principal of Bulam High School, Hong Seong-do, Principal of Cheongwon Girls' High School, and nine members of the village school advisory group, the event proceeded in the order of awarding appointment letters to the village advisory group, signing the agreement between the district office, schools, and village advisory group, commemorative photo session, and a meeting.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “Thank you for showing great interest in the 'Ttukttak' project, which started to transform standardized school spaces into spaces for students,” and added, “The district office will also do its best to create a school environment where students can play excitedly and freely pursue their dreams.”
