Jebisco Selects 'Koi White' as Color of the Year

Color Symbolizing the "Revitalizing Moment" of Returning to Human Sensibility and Regaining New Vitality

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Gangnam Jevisco Co., Ltd. has selected 'Coy White' as the Color of the Year for 2021 and is distributing the 'Interior Color Trend Brochure.'

'Coy White' is a color inspired by the essence of life filled with light and the importance of coexistence with humans and nature, awakened by the pandemic era that made us realize the value of precious daily life. It symbolizes revitalizing human innate emotions and returning to true values.

The trend brochure being distributed this time includes recommended color schemes in four themes that can create a sophisticated interior atmosphere when used with this year's color, Coy White. The four themes are 'Comforting Home,' 'Moment of the Truth,' 'Connected Islands,' and 'Inspired Future.'

A Gangnam Jevisco official stated, "With the increase in time spent indoors due to social distancing caused by COVID-19, interest and importance in interior design are higher than ever," adding, "We hope that Jevisco's '2021 Interior Color Trend Brochure' will provide comfort to many customers weary from their daily lives due to COVID-19 and serve as an opportunity to find new vitality."
