Recruiting 5 Joint Accounting Clerks by the 23rd... Final Results Announced April 30... Accounting Specialist Training Followed by Support for Daycare Accounting Including Seoul Daycare Management System
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Dongjak-gu (Mayor Lee Chang-woo) is promoting the ‘Visiting Joint Accounting Clerk for Childcare Centers’ support project to raise the accounting standards of childcare centers.
This project was established to create an environment where childcare center directors and childcare teachers can focus on childcare by reducing their accounting workload, and to secure accounting transparency by resolving issues such as inconsistent accounting methods and accounting errors.
In February, the project recruited childcare centers in the region to participate in the joint accounting clerk support project, selecting 30 childcare centers. From May 17 to October 29, accounting clerks will be dispatched to the selected childcare centers to support accounting and administrative tasks.
The district is recruiting five fixed-term workers to serve as joint accounting clerks until the 23rd.
The joint accounting clerks will complete professional accounting training related to overall childcare center operations and then rotate among childcare centers in the region, supporting administrative tasks such as accounting processing using the Seoul Childcare Center Management System and handling related supporting documents.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet one of the following criteria: ▲experience in accounting work at childcare centers or similar ▲graduates of early childhood-related departments ▲holders of childcare teacher certificates ▲or others recognized as capable of performing this task. Among them, those with experience as childcare center directors, childcare teachers, or joint accounting clerks at childcare centers will be given preference during hiring.
Those wishing to participate should bring related documents such as an application form, resume, and self-introduction letter, and apply by visiting the Dongjak-gu Office Childcare Division (5th floor, Yuhan Yanghang) or by mail, or by email (qc0911@dongjak.go.kr).
The final successful candidates will be selected by first screening documents for eligibility, followed by an interview, and chosen in order of highest scores. The results will be announced on April 30.
For further details related to this matter, inquiries can be made to the Childcare Division.
Kim Kyung-ok, Head of the Childcare Division, said, “This will be an opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of childcare services by creating an environment where childcare teachers can focus solely on childcare by reducing their administrative workload and securing transparency in childcare center accounting.” She added, “We will work harder to create a child-rearing environment where children and parents can trust and entrust childcare, and childcare staff can devote themselves entirely to childcare.”
